General Guidelines

After wearing, wipe your jewelry with a soft cloth.

Put on your jewelry on last, after cosmetics, perfume, hairspray and other chemical substances that can be corrosive.

Store your jewelry pieces separately, in a jewelry box or pouches, to avoid scratching.

      Cleaning Notes

Most gold and silver jewelry be cleaned with a liquid detergent solution.

For silver jewelry, it is best to use a mild cleaner without bleaching agents, abrasives or ammonia.

Soak the items in a very warm solution of water and detergent, then rinse. (Important: do not use detergent on pearls.)

A gentle brushing with a soft toothbrush can loosen stubborn dirt.

Do not soak sterling silver for too long, as it can change some oxidized finishes.

      Special Pieces

High design pushes the boundaries of imagination and craftsmanship. Jewelry pieces of extreme delicacy in design require special gentleness in handling.

      CUFFS WITHOUT OPENING MECHANISMS

Avoid squeezing or using undue force when putting on and taking off the cuff. This can not only spoil the shape but can also damage the piece.

      LEATHER

Clean only with leather care products. Do not wash.

      LANGIT

The lightness and mobility of this collection makes it delicate. Handle gently.

      HINGES AND CLASPS

Use "pinch" clasps properly – pinch, avoid tugging on the piece. Do not bend hinges.

      CHAINS

Those with small links are very flexible; those with large links are less so. Bending chains beyond their natural drape can damage the piece.

      CAUTION:

Some materials are especially vulnerable to damage from ammonia or any other hot solution: turquoise, peridot, pearls, malachite, jet, coral, and mother of pearl.
