Shopping procedure at John Hardy Online Boutique

Ordering at the John Hardy Online Boutique is easy and safe. Once you are ready to make a purchase click "Add to Shopping Bag" to add the product you wish to purchase to your Shopping Bag. Then proceed to follow the instructions through the checkout process to complete your order.

Sales Tax

U.S. online orders

Sales tax is automatically applied to your John Hardy order in accordance with individual state regulations if your shipping address is in one of the following states: CA, FL, GA, IL, LA, MD, MI, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OK, PA, SC, TX, VA, WA.

Non-U.S. orders

We do not collect tax and/or duties for all orders outside of the U.S.

Please note that when you order from the John Hardy ’s non-U.S. Online Boutiques (except Hong Kong Online Boutique), you are regarded as an importer who must comply with the laws and requirements of the country in which you are receiving the products. You will be responsible for any VAT, customs duties, import duties and other taxes that are levied when your order reaches its specified destination. John Hardy International Online Boutique has no control over these charges. You will be responsible for any shipping cost, customs duty and taxes incurred should you reject to pay the sales tax and customs duty. The final amount will be refunded to your credit card after deducting all the incurred costs. There will be no tax or duties when you order from John Hardy Hong Kong Online Boutique.

Payment

The John Hardy Online Boutique accepts the following credit cards for online purchases:

  • American Express (Except John Hardy Australia Online Boutique)
  • MasterCard
  • Visa

The total amount of your order will be charged at the time your card is approved. If the amount charged exceeds your credit limit, your order will be automatically canceled.

Troubleshooting Credit Card Payment Errors

If your card is new or recently reissued, make sure it has been activated.

Please double-check the card type (for example: American Express), the account number and the expiration date.

Remove dashes or spaces from the account number.

Please enter your name and billing information exactly as it appears on your credit card statement. When you enter your name, please also include your middle initial if it is also printed on your credit card.

Should you continue to have problems after entering your correct information, call the card issuer's customer service number on the back of your card. Your credit card company may need to speak with you before they authorize your purchase.

Security Codes

The card security code is a unique three or four digit number printed on the front (American Express) or back (MasterCard/Visa) of your card, in addition to the account number.

Shipping

John Hardy online deliveries will require the signature of an adult over the age of 18 upon delivery.

To ensure the secure delivery of your order, John Hardy does not ship orders to P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO addresses.

Delivery to U.S.

The John Hardy USA Online Boutique accepts online orders for shipment to addresses in the continental United States, Alaska and Hawaii.

Delivery will take 4-7 business days for shipment to the United States. Shipment time will vary for Pre-order products.

Delivery to Australia

Please visit the John Hardy Australia Online Boutique to place online orders for shipment to addresses in Australia.

Delivery will take up to 2-5 business days for shipment to Australia. Shipment time will vary for Pre-order products.

Delivery to Canada

Please visit the John Hardy Canada Online Boutique to place online orders for shipment to addresses in Canada.

Delivery will take up to 2-5 business days for shipment to Canada. Shipment time will vary for Pre-order products.

Delivery to Hong Kong

Delivery to Other Countries

The John Hardy International Online Boutiques accept online orders for shipment to addresses in the countries outside of the USA and any of its dependent territories, Australia and Canada listed on the “Change Region” page which can be accessed by clicking the “Change Region” button on the lower left hand corner of the John Hardy website.

Delivery will take up to 2-5 business days for international shipment. Shipment time will vary for Pre-order products.

If you cannot find your country on the “Change Region” list by clicking on the link on the bottom left corner on the John Hardy webpage, please email us at eshop.int@johnhardy.com.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, we aim to deliver product(s) to you, to the delivery address you have requested in your order within the time frame given, but we cannot give an exact delivery date.

We are not responsible for direct or indirect losses which occur and which are not foreseeable by you and us, including but not limited to:

  • loss of income or revenue
  • loss of business
  • loss of profits or contracts
  • loss of anticipated savings

Subject to the paragraph above, we are not responsible for any delay in, or failure of, performance of our obligations under these terms arising from any cause beyond our reasonable control including any of the following: act of God, governmental act, war, fire, flood, explosion or civil commotion, failure in information technology or telecommunications services, failure of a third party (including failure to supply data) and industrial action.

Packaging

John Hardy offers a complimentary greeting card for any kind of packaging option. The greeting card can be personalized during the online checkout process.

You can choose between two packaging options:

Standard Gift Packaging

Your John Hardy product will arrive in a signature John Hardy gift box that is decorated with an orange John Hardy ribbon. For necklaces, a signature necklace pouch will be provided with your shipment.

Green Packaging

As a pioneer of sustainability in the jewelry industry, John Hardy is always looking for ways to be Greener Every Day. If you choose our green packaging, your John Hardy product will arrive in an envelope that is eco-friendly and prevents tarnishing.

E-gift Card

The John Hardy e-gift card is available for purchase and online redemption only through the John Hardy USA Online Boutique. At this time, we are unable to offer e-gift cards through the John Hardy International Online Boutiques.

All e-gift cards will be emailed to the recipient once the order is completed. To redeem online, enter the e-gift card code at the shopping bag page.

John Hardy e-gift cards cannot be exchanged or refunded.

John Hardy is not liable for lost or stolen e-gift cards. If you have placed an e-gift card order and the e-gift card code has not been received within 24 hours, please check your junk mail box as the email may be routed to your spam folder and check that you have given the correct email address.

Promo Code

A Promo Code is a set of codes given to our customers to enjoy special offers on our products or shipping when they place orders through our online boutique. The special offers will vary from customer-to-customer and may expire on a certain pre-defined date. Please enter the valid Promo Code in the appropriate field on the shopping bag page and click “Apply.” The offer related to the Promo Code will be immediately shown in your updated shopping bag page or in the order total. John Hardy reserves the right to utilize the Promo Codes at its sole discretion.

If this is your first purchase on the website you will have option to create an account with us, using your email address. You will also be asked to create a password.

Order Cancellation

Orders cannot be canceled or modified after it has been shipped from our Distribution Center.

If you wish to cancel or modify your order, please send an email to us immediately.

Please note: Pre-order products cannot be canceled or returned.

For any online orders delivered to a location outside of the U.S., you will be responsible for any shipping cost, customs duties and sales tax. If the order is returned because of your rejection to pay the sales tax and customs duties, the final amount will be refunded to your credit card after deducting all the incurred costs including sales tax and customs duties. Please be advised that it will take up to 8 weeks for the refund to reflect on your credit card statement.

Address Validation

To protect our customers against fraud, we will verify all billing and delivery addresses before we ship any online orders. If your billing and delivery addresses do not match, we may require additional information to process your order.
