The John Hardy Lifestyle collection naturally evolved from life on the compound in Bali, where when guests visit, they share lunch with the employees under the Banyan Tree. It was decided they wanted to have more special cutlery to honor these guests, so Bedarida designed forks, knives and spoons that incorporated John Hardy motifs and upgraded these everyday pieces into precious keepsakes.

The same designs and techniques used for jewelry are reflected in the Lifestyle collection, where the Classic Chain, Dot and Palu motifs are found on everything from glasses, bowls, plates, pitchers and utensils to game sets, smoking accessories and pens. The items unite precious materials like sterling silver, gemstones, agate and alabaster with natural materials, including bamboo, coconut shell, buffalo horn and the black palm wood, yielding a rustic elegance.
