Co-Founder, Building Blocks For Change
A World Of Change
“I find fulfillment in connecting, inspiring, and empowering others. I try to encourage people to accomplish things they wouldn’t be able to on their own,” says Julia Fehrenbach, co-founder of international nonprofit Building Blocks For Change. Dedicated to creating unique and targeted solutions for developing countries, her organization ultimately seeks to bolster economic growth that mobilizes and uplifts.
MY SUMMER COMMITMENT:
A Greater Good
After quitting her job to launch Building Blocks For Change in her mid-20s, Fehrenbach plans on building momentum to scale her nonprofit for greater impact. This means planning more fundraisers, and launching more projects. Her goal? “Staying efficient and organized so I can do everything well.”
“Without sounding like a political historian,” says Fehrenbach, “I believe our individual fates are linked by a common good. By serving that common good, we ultimately bring individuals the love and support that will in return better the lives of each individual and future generations.” Celebrating the individual in the universal, Fehrenbach’s personal philosophy is a mix of grand and nuanced—just like her style.
I believe our individual fates are linked by a common good. By serving that common good, we ultimately bring individuals the love and support that will in return better the lives of each individual and future generations.
