A double Lahar ring of 18 karat white gold with Diamonds of assorted shapes and blue gemstones in graded hues, on a complex shank whose motif is suggestive of wings. Trillion faceted Tanzanite and white rose-cut Diamonds in kite, trillion, and hexagon shapes form the crest of one wing, while the other is pavé-set with Diamonds and blue and light blue Sapphires. The Sapphire, among the noblest of gems, is associated with intuition, clarity and the wisdom of kindness. The indestructible Diamond is a stone of absolutes, symbolic of power and the fire of love. Lahar means ‘lava’ in Indonesia, an archipelago nation of volcanic islands. The Lahar stone treatment evokes the brilliant streaming of the elements fire and earth. Sayap Surgawi means ‘heavenly wings’.
